TXdocs released an update to ensure your forms are up-to-date before April 1, when changes to the Texas Rules of Civil Procedure and Texas Rules of Appellate Procedure take effect.
The Texas Supreme Court approved final amendments to TRCP 10 and TRAP 6 regarding withdrawals as attorney of record. We have ensured that all of the Motions to Withdraw comply with the new requirements, including the additional contact information for the parties. You can read more about the changes in Misc. Docket No. 25-9011. TXdocs offers Motions and Orders to Withdraw in the following practice areas:

Family Law
- Financial Information Statements available in Excel! This option will make the updating and sharing of information even easier. If your client has filled out an online intake, or if you’ve assembled the FIS in TXdocs, the answers will automatically populate, and any changes will be automatically calculated. You can assemble this form independently or as an option when assembling the traditional FIS (form 5.05).
- Child support orders and agreements have been restructured and reworded for improved readability and better enforcement.
- Allocation of Tax Exemption or Credit for Dependents in the divorce decree and agreements has been improved, with an additional paragraph for breach if a party improperly claims a deduction for a child.

Real Estate

- Lady Bird General Warranty Deed now has the option for joint rights of survivorship and for revocation by surviving spouse.
